“What are they doing with all that pasta?” —I wondered staring at the shockingly empty shelves in the supermarket during the COVID-19 lockdown in 2020— “It’s not humanly possible to eat all that spaghetti this fast”. Imagining what I would do in their position — having tons of spaghetti stored in my pantry —, I decided to re-make three of the pieces from Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione (sedia, tavolo rettangolare and libreria), using only spaghetti number 11.

Following the steps of Mari, I designed everything open source by sharing all the blueprints online for free. This way people could easily reproduce the three pieces at their homes — finally giving a use to all that hoarded pasta.
